1. Close "Configuration," then MercuryS SMTP server, then Relay/connection control.

2. Tick "Do not permit SMTP relaying..." and "Use strict local relaying...."

3. Add an "Allow" entry in the "Connection Control" list above, which specifies which IP numbers are allowed to relay if that is needed. (This depends on the network setup.)

4. Erik adds: "I am using Authentication on top of this. A user has to log in with AUTH if they want to relay. I think that's very secure. Takes a bit more setup and i am not sure if OE uses Auth correct."
