Filters
(Eudora and Pegasus)
Most
e-mail program come with utilities called "filters"
which may be set up to block or divert certain types of mail.
Filters watch for content in headers (To, From, Subject, etc.)
or in the body of the e-mail itself. You can select the type
of mail you wish to avoid.
Filters
can also be used to organize mail. For instance, you could
have all letters from a friend named John sent to a folder
which you have created -- perhaps a folder named "John's
letters."
Two
popular e-mail programs, used for years by members ANM, are
